I am an experienced senior manager with over 40 years’ management experience, including, most recently, five years as Group SHEQ Manager for a growing group of engineering companies specialising in the waste and recycling sector. Proven expertise in Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality management, with particular strengths in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, internal auditing, multi-site compliance, risk management and continual improvement.
I am a commercially focused and adaptable manager with a proven ability to integrate management systems, standardise best practice and deliver measurable improvements. Previous management experience spans engineering, manufacturing, brick production, hydraulics and distribution, encompassing finance, operations, IT, safety, training, quality and environmental management. Committed to professional development and currently studying CMI Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice (RQF).
Throughout my career, I have continually invested in my professional development, undertaking further education, training and professional qualifications to meet the competencies and responsibilities required as my career progressed. Much of this development was undertaken at my own expense and, in many cases, was essential to achieving or maintaining membership of the professional bodies relevant to my roles.
